Are you on the hunt for some cheap wine glasses? I get it, some wine glasses actually cost an arm and a leg (I mean hundreds of dollars for frail thin glass).
Here's the real question, are you an avid wine drinker who understands the crucial importance of wine glasses?!
You could have the BEST wine on the shelf and hinder it's potential with bad glassware...
Trust me, I've been there! What we don't want, is for you to be there too.

When I worked in Napa wine country, the glassware was everything! Some places had the most elegant (and expensive) wine glasses. I was amazed that those glasses actually made wine taste better...
I'm not kidding!
So, we want to get you the BEST cheap wine glasses that will make your wine taste 1000x better, because trust me, it is soooo worth it!
Here you will see the 8 best places to get cheap wine glasses.
This post is all about cheap wine glasses.
8 Best Places for Cheap Wine Glasses
I am sure you are aware, these are the best cheap wine glasses but here you can learn how to choose wine glasses based on the wine you are drinking!
You are going to be surprised by the cheap wine glasses you'll find! These places are not super well known, but they are stellar options for the best glassware!
1. Wine.com
A place that is totally under the radar when it comes to wine accessories (which 100% includes wine glasses).
The wine glasses from here range in different prices, but ultimately, the red wine glass set and white wine glass sets come out to only $15 per glass.
These specific glasses are not the thinnest glass (as other fancy and expensive wine glasses will be), BUT they are thinner than the standard wine glass.
Which, for a wine drinker, thin glass makes a huge huge difference!
(Wine.com also carries fine crystal glass glasses as well...)
Red wine glasses set of 4: $60
White wine glasses set of 4: $60
Price for sets of 4: $15 per glass (best price)
2. IWA Wine
Yet another wine company that flies under the radar (unless you do your homework).
IWA is almost like a home depot, but for wine drinkers.
They have everything from wine cellar developments, wine storage, glassware, accessories, gifts, and more! Their wine glasses are superbly priced, and very competitive in the cheap wine glasses.
Price for a set of 8 (value pack): $9.75 per glass
Price for a set of 6 red and 6 white: $12 per glass
3. Overstock
Ok, I guess most of these places for cheap wine glasses are under the radar after all!
Overstock is like an online Target with lots of home goods that you can choose from. The best part of Overstock... They have some of the cheapest glasses!
So, maybe, it's more like an online Walmart?
The selection of wine glasses is soooo vast! They have everything from goblets, to gold-rimmed glasses, to fancier looking glasses, and so much more. Surprisingly, they are all roughly the same price...
You are sure to find something you like in here!
Price pr glass for a set of 4: $7.50!
4. Amazon
The not-so-uncommon place for cheap wine glasses is, of course, *drum roll please* Amazon.
I am surprised the quality items you can find on Amazon actually (though some are not so quality if you know what I mean).
The best part about Amazon wine glasses is the New York Times has done a "best of glassware" for a few years now. What does that mean?
That means you can find some of the best glassware (according to wine drinkers at the New York Times) on Amazon.
The best part? They are CHEAP! Hallelujah.
Price per glass: $10 to $15
5. WestElm
My favorite spot (other than Crate & Barrel). WestElm has the BEST chic and fancy-looking wine glasses. Plus, they are totally affordable!
Their selection is to. die. for. (or maybe it's just their photography, either way!)
WestElm is not the cheapest option, as they range from $10 to $15, but you are buying the "fanc-y" wine glass aesthetic. Plus, most of their selection will taper off towards the rim.
What the heck does that mean? Basically, the crystal glass is thinner at the rim to aid in a smoother transition of wine from the glass to you...
In my guide to glassware, that is the ultimate win for any wine glass if you are looking to get reaalllly specific in your glasses!
Price per glass: Anywhere between $10-$15
6. Crate & Barrel
If you are anything like me, you adore Crate & Barrel! Everything is so dang cute. I could spend so much time just online window shopping.
Believe it or not, Crate & Barrel has some of the cheapest wine glasses! Though, they also have some more expensive options too.
Crate & Barrel has the fancy glasses, stemless glasses, and the squared wine glasses. So. Many. Good. Options!
Price per glass: Anywhere from $4.95 to $15!
7. Target
The ol' faithful! Everyone knows Target has some of the most common household items, clothes, etc. Their wine glass selection is no different!
Their prices range anywhere from $10 to $15, with their individual glasses going for around $3.
Personally, I have not purchased cheap wine glasses from Target. But, knowing Target, you are sure to find some common, traditional and basic glassware!
Prices per glass: From $10 to $15
8. Bed Bath & Beyond
Last but not least: Bed Bath & Beyond. A classic, similar to Target, but juuuust a little different!
The pricing is similar to Target.
The quality might not be as high as the other options, but depends on what your priorities are for cheap wine glasses!
Price per glass: $5 to $15
Tips to Properly Care for Your Wine Glasses
Once you have your wine glasses it can be equally as important to care for them properly to extend their lifespan.
When I say extend their lifespan, I mean trying to prevent the glass-shattering-incidences that happen with new wine glasses... I know you know exactly what I am talking about!
So, here are the basic tips to care for your wine glasses!
Tip 1: Use glassware cleaner
Have you ever cleaned you wine glass in the dishwasher and it shatters? Or worse, you get that white film/water spots?
Well... You might want to try some glassware cleaner!
Sometimes our glasses can get a weird smell if we aren't cleaning them correctly. And, with cheap wine glasses it's important to keep them clean!
Tip 2: Use mini rubber drying rack
After I wash wine glasses I usually put them on top of a paper towel... What I don't realize is that is the recipe for disaster! The glasses get knocked over, or secretly slide right into sink and BAM!
It sits right on the side of your sink and is small enough not to get *super* annoying. Then, place it right under your sink when you're done!
This cheap wine rack solves that issue in two seconds!
Tip 3: Store upside down
After cleaning and drying your wine glasses, it is best to store upside down. Whether that is hanging on a wall or on a shelving liner in your cup boards.
Storing upside down helps alleviate the dirt, dust, and icky's that can fall into the glass itself.
I mean you spent good time cleaning and drying and you want to keep it actually clean!
So, store your clean wine glasses upside down and you will be well on your way to drinking the best wine.
The best places for cheap wine glasses sometimes come from the least expected places, like wine.com, IWA, and overstock.
You are sure to find wine glasses you like, are in your price range, and will help you get your favorite wines from the bottle to your taste buds. I can guarantee it!
Plus, be able to care for them properly to extend their lifespan.
