Easy no-cook wine bites might just be the answer to your busy day... Wait, let me rephrase that, easy wine bites AND a glass of wine IS your answer.
Those oober busy days when you just want to come home sit out on the porch, drink some wine, and NOT cook.
I am in that situation as I write this...

You can't deny it, there are some snacks that just hit differently sometimes, then you pair with wine and it's all over. It's too good!
If you are anything like me, you can get into cooking phases and be making gourmet dinners and desserts 24/7, but ultimately you want an easier solution.
(Or, is that just me??)
Here are 7 easy wine bites perfect for those busy work days, long travel days, or a simplistic evening at home!
This post is all about wine bites.
Easy No-Cook Wine Bites When You Just Want That Glass of Wine Already
Basically, these wine bites are a bit like a "deconstructed charcuterie board". So, think meats, cheese, and fruits. Which makes it suuuuper easy!
Some might even call these "girl dinner ideas"...
I'm fine with that, because they are del-i-cious! A bonus: These snacks are great "taste-testers" for your next charcuterie board, perfect wine bites appetizers.
1. Apples & Cheese
My recent, most absolute favorite snack is apples and cheese. I honestly forgot this existed!
The most basic of snacks, yet, it works virtually every time. You can play around with the apple and cheese variations with the type of wine you are drinking.
For example,
- Green apples, aged cheddar, and white wine
- Granny smith apples, gouda, and red wine
- Honey crisp apple, aged parmesan, and Sauvignon Blanc
Honestly, you can't go wrong with any combination.
2. Grapes & Cheese
Another underrated snack is grapes and cheese!
Simply have a bowl of grapes with sliced parmesan, cheddar, gouda, brie, ANYTHING and snack away.
Think grapes, think wine! If you wanted to, you can pair red grapes with red wine and green grapes with white.
3. Brie Cheese & Chutney
Almost every dinner party growing up my mom would make baked brie cheese, use jam and crackers as the vehicles.
(I literally just wrote brie cheese on my grocery list..)

It is TOO good. It can be paired with various types of "vehicles", perfect for wine bites.
- Crackers
- Apple slices
- Cucumbers (or any veggie)
- Nuts (as a topping)
- Chutney (as a topping)
- Olives
The directions on how to bake the brie into that soft melty deliciousness is on the box. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, that's it! Easy peasy.

4. Meat & Cheese Pre-Made Charcuterie
You are probably thinking, c'mon Ali, this is obvious.
Which is most definitely is an obvious wine bites appetizer! It is simple, easy, no-cook way to have hearty wine bites that go with a glass of wine every. single. time.
Go to the grocery store and pick up the pre-packaged meat and cheese board. Or, pick out three of your favorites and make your own.
5. Fig & Goat Cheese
For my goat cheese lovers, if you're anything like me, you can eat goat cheese out of the fridge with zero shame.
If you don't like goat cheese, just skip to the next...
As with all these easy no-cook wine bites, this one is EASY! It is two ingredients that are ready right out of the store:
- Fig preserve or jam
- Goat cheese
- Vehicle for transportation (crackers, apples, etc)
Option to place the cheese in a bowl and gently pour the fig preserve on top, or keep them separate and use a cute little spoon to deliver the passengers to your vehicle.
Check out the wine bite here!
6. Pear & Almond Butter
I feel like this snack reminds me of grade school. The little packets of JIF peanut butter and bagged apples slices, and there was just never enough PB for all the apples... (eye roll!)
Easy, no-cook wine & bites idea, just make sure to have enough nut butter to go around!

Pear and almond butter may also be substituted for apples and peanut butter. Though, almond butter is less salty (usually) than peanut butter which is good for those white wines!
- Apples and peanut butter with red wine, prosecco/champagne
- Pear and almond butter with white wine
7. Jam & Crackers
Such a classic girl dinner... And yet, it might be the best one. It's so easy and undeniably delicious.
The array of jams, preserves, compotes, etc out there are endless. You can even learn to make your own (I haven't yet, but sounds amazing).
(Make your own fig jam and make fig and goat cheese wine bite... omg!)
Jam and crackers are a perfect option when you probably have nothing in your fridge except that last bit of jam and a roll of Ritz crackers, oh, and your glass of wine of course.
8. Cucumber & Cream Cheese
For fresh and crisp wine bites, cucumber and cream cheese is a go-to. Another random combination of miscellaneous fridge items that oddly work well together.
Plus, its ZERO cook and all the tastiness!
Option to even put a bit of olive oil and salt and pepper before adding a dollup of cream cheese on top.
9. Dried Apricots & Pistachios
The simplest wine bites are the ones you don't need to touch before eating them! Dried apricots and pistachios are just that: stupid-easy.
Have two cute serving bowls ready, one for a heaping pile of dried apricots and the other for shelled pistachios.
Why shelled?!
It gives you something to do with your hands. Which helps you eat slower, engage with the snack, and overall just enjoy it more.
10. Prosciutto Wrapped Figs
Can you tell I LOVE figs?!
Fig season is amazing, and we honestly should take advantage of every. single. fig. we can get our little paws on.
I am going to be honest, prosciutto wrapped figs AND goat cheese might just be the greatest invention of all time.

Now that we are right around, or in, fig season it is time to take FULL advantage. You can get figs at the store, grab some prosciutto off the shelf and you are on your way.
11. Dates & Almonds
Lastly, another easy-set-up wine bite appetizer, or maybe this is more of a snack...
Dates and almonds, or dates and your favorite nut: peanuts, pistachios, walnuts, pecans.
The salty nuts can really compliment any wine (usually more so reds, but depends on how salty). And the sweetness in the dates balance that salt perfectly.
Great items to add onto your grocery list because they keep well in the pantry whenever you need that quick and easy girl dinner with wine.
12. Prosciutto Wrapped Melon
Melon in the summer time is my ultimate favorite. Especially when you chill it in the fridge. You can pre-cut the melon into strips, then when you get home, wrap some cured meat...
It takes SECONDS to prepare and it is too tasty, and quite refreshing.
Melon pairs best with white wines. The delicate flavors in the melon compliment the delicate flavors in white wines.
Of course, you can do whatever you want, but sometimes red wine can drown out the soft flavors of melon.
Any good wine bite idea is a mix of a couple things: meat, cheese, and fruit! Once you get the perfect combination, and trust me it exists, then you will never question what to snack on at the end of a long day.
Because we have all been there, we might even be there right now, at the end of a long travel day or work day and all you want is a simple answer to your increasing desire for food and wine.
Enjoy the best wine bites and use them as inspiration for your next party charcuterie board!
