Are you gearing up for a summer wine party? Look no further, these are the holy-grails of a chic summer wine party.
Brought to you by us scavenging the internet, reading LOTS, and talking to our fellow party hosts (aka my mom).

When I lived in Napa wine country, my girlfriends and I would have "wine nights" which would consist of our wines, snacks, music, and giggles.
Though, when we would go visit our wineries parties, they took a wine party to a whole new level (I mean it is Napa after all...)
So, here are the top essentials for a chic and summer-lovin wine party!
This post is all about wine party.

Glassware
1. Vintage Wine Glasses
I am obsessed with these vintage wine glasses! There are tons of styles to choose from if you want to change up the style. Though, you can't really go wrong with creative glassware...
2. Stemless Wine Glasses
Aside from the thatched wine glasses, stemless wine glasses are *probably* your best alternative to actual wine glasses to keep a chic and classy look, but also avoid breakage.
Let's be honest, people tend to break things easily and wine glasses are NO different!
Plus, these stemless glasses are break-resistant, so you can at least sleep knowing they are adult-proofed (at least a little bit!).
Tableware
4. Ceramic Pitcher(s)
I am totally obsessed with these ceramic water pitchers. It takes regular pitchers to a whole new level, and adds that flare you are most definitely looking for!
(Spoiler: adding herbal ice cubes to this pitcher is to. die. for)!
5. Wine Pouring Spouts
Have you ever went for a glass of wine and grabbed the bottle out of the fridge, yanked out the cork, and poured yourself a glass of wine only to have it spilling down the side?!
You don't want that happening at your wine party, not only for the guests' sake (keep those dresses clean!), but also for your sake: keep your house & linens clean!
These wine pourers are popular for their dribble-free advantage, and can be used in any wine bottle.
6. Brass Wine Bottle Holder
Get your wines on display! These individual wine bottle holders are perfect for displaying your wines, plus add in the placement cards for labeling, and viola!
Use these for specialty wine bottles, regular wine bottles, or even your homemade wines (wink wink).
7. Vintage Wine Stoppers
If you are not using a wine pourer, then a vintage wine stopper is perfect for keeping wine between glasses. And these look so cute on a serving table.
You also get to use these stoppers after the party is over which is a double win.
8. Insulated Wine Chiller
When it comes to summer time and you are looking for that chic wine party aesthetic, herbal infusions just scream elegance.
For this insulated wine chiller you can add just water, or you can add herbs, citrus slices, other botanicals, etc.
I am just obsessed with this...
9. Board for Charcuterie
Every wine party needs a charcuterie board! They come in all different shapes and sizes you can choose from (I am sure you are aware of that, as they are everywhere!).
Some of the most elegant styles are the olive trees, the jagged edges, the dark wood, etc.
10. Herb Infused Ice Cubes
Herbal infused ice cubes are such a fun addition to a wine party, can be used for water, cocktails, or even in the wine cooler for a floral touch.
As with anything, there are a few ways you can make herbal infused ice cubes.
Learn how to make various kinds of herbal ice cubes here!
11. Wood Serving Trays
When we place our wine bites out for everyone, presentation matters. It can be super adorable to have elevated surfaces (plus the candles all around), I am obsessed!
Wood serving trays with a metal rack for elevation give the presentation we are searching for.
12. Red Wine Decanter
For those red wine lovers out there you may be interested in having a decanter! Not only do they look aesthetically pleasing, but they aerate the wine which opens up the flavors.
Similar to swirling your wine in the glass, but... different!
13. Porcelain Dip Bowls
Dipping bowls are a MUST with any wine party that includes hors d'oeuvres: guacamole, salsa, cheese dip, etc etc.
These cute little bowls are perfect for your dipping bowls if you don't have some already.
(My mom is a host queen, she used to have the cutest wooden dipping bowls that made snacking 1000x more enjoyable.)
14. Linen Hand Towels
Have you ever been to a restaurant where they carry the cloths around with the wine bottles? So when they pour the wine they can gently sweep the side of the bottle to clean the dribbling wine?
If you know what I am talking about, hand towels can be perfect wrapped around the wine bottle or placed right next to it so guests can keep from dribbling wine.
So, hand towels are not just for guests, they are also for the wine!
Guest Essentials
16. Metal Cooler for Back Up Drinks
A perfect place for chilled red wines, whites, roses, and sparkling wine to sit before they are ready to be opened!
If you also have other styles of drinks, like beers, sodas, and water then this is great for those extra drink types.
17. Polaroid Camera
Always a fun touch to any occasion and a wine party is no different! Have the polaroid in one spot with pens so people can write little memos on the bottom of the photo.
Who doesn't love an adorable polaroid?!
18. Water Cooler
A classic styled water station for your guests! Plus, you can infuse your water with cucumber, mint, citrus, and more for that summery touch.
Alternatively, you can use it for iced teas, herbal tea, and other non-alcoholic drinks.
19. Portable Speaker
If you have surround sound already at your home, then disregard this one! If you don't, then you must get a portable speaker for your summer wine party.
They are great to have even after the party ends... Plus, JBL speakers get loud with still really good quality sound.
20. Light Blanket(s)
A light blanket adds some lovely outdoor elegance, plus if it gets chilly later in the evening... It will get put to use.
Adding a textured blanket outdoors will give that wow-effect, check out other ways to use texture here.
21. Hand Fans
Depending on where you are, summer months can be brutally warm and sometimes even have a mosquito issue.
Personal hand fans ARE the solution! You might even have fans around your home, but these are sure to help alleviate that sometimes brutal summer heat.
22. Placement Cards for Wine
Add in the details of the wines: the varietal, flavors, notes, winemaker, region, etc.
Use in conjunction with the brass bottle holders as well!
23. Reusable Tote Bags
If you are a party-favor-giving host, then reusable tote bags are the way to go! You can stuff them with lavender twigs, homemade jams, personalized notes, bottles of wine, etc.
24. Wine Education Book
It is a wine party after all, so showcase some wine-love with a wine map by region with some basic information regarding the wine varietals in that area.
Create your own with the information in the book, or showcase the book for guests to read and scan while choosing/drinking/pouring their wines!
25. Chalkboard Markers
A guest essential: signs to showcase what cheese is what, what meat is what, etc. Much like for the wines, these are adorable chalkboard markers for various food plates you will serve!
To-die-for Decor
26. Glowing Wine Bottles
Use an old wine bottle, fill it with LED fairy lights and place around your home or on the serving table!
A great use of old bottles and adds such a lovely glow, especially after sunset.
27. Twinkle Lights
Any lady understands the power of the twinkle lights. I am obsessed with these, I have almost always had twinkle lights in my rooms, houses, even my car (yes, really).
They add great elegance and you will easily become obsessed (if you aren't already).
28. Elegant Candle Holders
Of COURSE, candles make any occasion fancier. These votive candle holders are adorable and come in various different colors to match your household decor you already have.
Place them around the serving table with your cheeses, charcuterie boards, drinks, etc, will light it up so beautifully.
29. Faux Lavender Bundles
Literally nothing else screams chic than lavender... I mean, it gives that warm and medicinal aesthetic. When paired with gold, ceramic, etc, it is GORGEOUS!
If you have lavender anything, you understand! It is to-die-for.
30. Faux Olive Branches
Add into your ceramic pitcher, or another vase! Use these or other twigs that give some texture and greenery to the serving table (or where ever you decide!).
Obviously, wine party essentials are essential to whoever is hosting and what their specific style is.
The glassware, tableware, guest essentials, and decor are all essentials to create a chic summer wine party your friends will rave about, and you will get some fun creative things to reuse for future gatherings.
